I'm watching this British monarchy show and it dawns on me. People wonder why non-British folk are obsessed with this genre of entertainment, whether it be historical or current. I think it's because we all secretly want to be royalty. That way we can be wild, crazy, YOLO, etc. but always know we are golden because of our bloodline. We don't need no stinkin' minimum wage job or to take some opportunity that's beneath us because it's an opportunity for growth. We don't need to worry about sex because we are royalty so everyone and anyone is hot to bang. We can do anything without worrying about dire consequences. Could you imagine? It's like someone figuring out life, the universe and everything for you because aren't we all just too lazy?
Now I definitely don't want to be next in line royalty, if you catch my drift. More like next next in line or so on. Pressures on but definitely not fully on you. Long live the average!
